Our Home Mechanic PLUS (Road) course is an extension to our standard Cytech Home Mechanic course. It offers a deeper dive into the more complicated maintenance tasks specific to road bikes.
You’ll be learning from the people who train the UK’s professional cycle mechanics and working in some of the most advanced workshops around, this will help inspire confidence in your ability to tackle more difficult maintenance jobs without the need to take your bike to a local bike shop, or help get you home safely if you were to suffer a mechanical issue whilst out on the road.
The Home Mechanics PLUS (Road) course is suitable for keen road cyclists who are already able to undertake everyday maintenance jobs at home. For example: Road racers/sportive/club riders who do a lot of road cycling and tend to frequently purchase spare parts online to fit at home.
It is recommended (but not essential), that you have completed our standard Cytech home mechanics course.
A prior knowledge of and/or experience of using a range of home workshop tooling is expected.
The course includes all instruction, insider tips and tricks from our leading team of training officers who train the UK’s professional cycle mechanics.
This is a 2-day course and can be completed at any of our dedicated training centres.
The course costs £299.00 (no VAT). The price includes all course materials.

On successful completion of the course, you will receive the Home Mechanic PLUS (Road) certificate.

Working in association with Velogicfit, our BikeFit course offers an introduction to the anatomical and biomechanical sciences related to correctly positioning a rider on their bicycle.
