Our Cytech technical two – wheel building course will provide candidates with the expert tuition that they need to become a wheel builder in just 2 days. It is a specialised industry recognised qualification and is a module taken from the complete Cytech technical two course. Building your own set of wheels is a journey that will both challenge you and give you immense satisfaction. And, it’s not as difficult as it sounds.
Technical two wheel building is a 2-day course that needs to be completed at one of our dedicated training centres.
The course costs £400.00 no VAT (ACT gold members receive a 10% discount). The price includes all course materials and Cytech certification.
NB. Accommodation, travel and food are not included in the price.
On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive the Cytech technical two wheel building certificate.
Our Cytech technical two assessment only option has been designed for existing cycle mechanics that have already gained a high level of workshop experience and mechanical knowledge in their workplace, and don’t need to take the full 10-day technical two course.
Cytech Technical One is aimed at people who are new to the cycle trade that need to achieve a basic level of expertise to allow them to work safely either in a workshop environment, on a retail shop floor or other customer service related role.
Cytech Technical Two is considered the industry trade standard for any professional cycle mechanic. It includes 2 weeks of intensive training and assessment, delivering the skills and knowledge required to be a professional bike mechanic.
Our Cytech Technical Three course is designed for advanced bicycle mechanics who have gained a high level of technical knowledge and experience from working on the industry’s latest high-end bikes and components. It leads to the highest qualification available in the UK.
Cytech Technical e-bike is designed for bicycle dealers, sales staff and technicians who are looking to stock, sell and service all types of electric bikes. The course has been specifically designed to help prepare candidates for the ever-increasing e-bike market sector.
Our Cytech Police E-bike Compliance Training course is for learning about the laws on e-bikes and how to identify different types of e-bikes. The course also covers battery safety / risk management, transport and storage best practice.
This Cytech accredited, short course covers a comprehensive range of cycle maintenance topics designed to give any bike enthusiast the desired level of mechanical ability needed to tackle everyday maintenance jobs that would otherwise be handled by a local bike shop.
