In light of the Government announcement made on 31 October 2020, Activate Cycle Academy would like to update everyone about the delivery of our Cytech courses.

The Government has prioritised the need for educational establishments to remain open during this latest lockdown period and as part of Activate Learning group, who run and operate a large number of colleges around the country, all of which will remain open, meaning we will continue to deliver our trade-based only Cytech courses as originally scheduled. As such, you are permitted to attend your course and to travel to and from the venue (the only exception being our leisure-based, home mechanic courses that we are having to postpone and re-schedule).

The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, learners and wider community is our absolute priority. We will continue to do all we can to ensure our workshops are as safe as possible and we appreciate everyone’s continued support with these efforts. This includes maintaining social distancing, wearing face coverings in communal spaces and when asked to wear them in the workshop and ensuring good hand hygiene through regular washing and use of hand sanitisers.

If you are booked on any Cytech training course with us between Thursday 5th November and Wednesday 2nd December and have any questions or concerns about your attendance on the course, please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you have booked accommodation alongside your course, please check with your hotel that it is still open during this period.

If you are booked onto a home mechanic course with us, you’ll be contacted by us over the next couple of days to discuss your booking options.

We would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter during these continuing difficult and challenging times.

Stay safe everyone.
